Bring the Pain
September 25, 2005Today I went up to Triage with Drew, Dan and Jim for some paintball. There weren’t too many woodsballers up there today, but we had enough for a 7-on-7 match with some other guys from the area. It turned out alright and I had a lot of fun. I played pretty well today, got a little over 6 people out over the course of the day. I only got shot about 4 times, but the times I did get shot left nastly welts, which were acquired when I tried to nab the flag in our CTF round. I didn’t hve any ticks this time, and the bug bites were minimal, so it was at least better than the last time I went. Well today I realized just how much my gun is falling apart. A metal piece on a part of my backblock is bent, I’m missing my velocity know and one of the threads in my trigger frame are stripped. I plan on getting a new gun relatively soon, so hopefully I won’t have to worry about it for too much longer.
